Please join us in thanking Toby Johnson for his epic trip report from the lovely Hong Kong Disneyland park. Today, he wraps up his series with Toy Story Playland and Fantasyland. You can find previous entries here: Part One, Part Two, Part Three and Part Four

This sign is at the Junction point where Adventureland and Fantasyland meet. Follow the path down and under the train bridge crossing and you will arrive and the 1st of the 3 new lands added to the park, Toy Story Land!

These pictures were taken at park opening on a Friday morning. It was nice to walk on all the attractions here, especially “RC Racer”. It was actually a very fun ride, but as it is a fairly short experience I would not want to wait long for it.

“Toy Soldier Parachute” drop was more fun then I thought it would be. Making a Disney California Adventure comparison, it was not as tall or thrilling as the old “MaliBoomer” but a step-up from “Jumpin’ Jellyfish. ” Great views of the park on this one too.

If you keep going on from this point you will arrive at Mystic Point.
Going back the way we came though and we will be at the back end of Fantasyland.

This was my first time to experience HKDL’s version of it’s a small world as it was a few months shy of its opening last time I was there in 2006. I have to say that the attraction here looked amazing.  A very bright and pristine journey through the incredible colors and vision of Mary Blairs art work. Immaculately maintained!

The extended scenes of the Asia and China sections were beautiful and even included the Hong Kong buliding skyline in lights.
