At Discoveryland, scaffoldings have covered Videopolis and Nautilus.
The trees around Space Mountain Mission 2 were cut. The dome is seriously dirty, fortunately everything will be renovated and cleaned for mid-July.
All aboard !
We have new photos of the Mark Twain…and it’s worse than expected. From the Disneyland Railroad we can now see the other side of the boat. Guardrails have been destroyed, wooden friezes are peeling away showing the metal structure and that’s only the visible damage!
The Cottonwood Creek Ranch area is closed, although train passengers can debark at the station. We do not know why this part of Frontierland is closed. Note the damage on the roof of Frontierland Depot station.
Chaparral Theater has been stripped of decoration and is now ready to receive the elements for the Frozen Sing-along.
The Fantasyland Station sign has returned.
Now, let’s head to Walt Disney Studios Park!
Studio Tram Tour is closed!
The path behind the Tower of terror is closed.
There is still a one hour wait for Ratatouille in a park that rarely experiences 30 minute wait times for the other attractions. This ride is a real success!
At the Disney Village, Sports Bar is now equipped for the winter cold! (patio heater)
The front of the Disney Store has been cleaned and painted.
Since the terrorist attacks on January 11th, the military is patrolling the stations TGV, RER (Metro of Paris) and now the Disney Village.
The trees around the Lake’s hotels have been replaced.
Work begins on the West part of the New Port Bay Club Hotel, although all the scaffolding is not yet in place.
A closer look…
There’s a lot of clean up to do.
Here’s the part of the hotel which hasn’t been refurbished yet. :
That’s it for now. Watch this space for regular Disneyland Paris Resort photos updates courtesy of Max and DLPWelcome.
