Hello, and welcome to Dateline Disney World! This week, we’re touring the Magic Kingdom and getting ready for the holiday season. We’d also like to invite you to a very special event in Disney’s master-planned town of Celebration. Let’s go!
Walt Disney Birthplace Cocktail Reception – November 21st – Celebration, Florida
You are cordially invited to join us for an exclusive evening with Disney Imagineer Bob Gurr on November 21st. This event will continue the campaign the save and preserve the historic The Walt Disney Birthplace! This special night will include special guests, Magic, Memories, and a rare opportunity to meet a true Disney Legend! There are an extremely limited number of tickets available for this private affair, and we will be offering some unique opportunities which will only be available at this event. Don’t miss out on this one-of-a-kind night, and meet a true Magic Maker!
WE CAN ONLY SAVE WALT’S LEGACY WITH YOUR HELP
We have already lost too many buildings that were an incredibly important part of Walt Disney’s history. And that is one of the reasons why it is essential that this landmark is restored to its original state, honoring and preserving the home for generations to come.
But, we can only do this with your help. Chicago’s harsh winter is rapidly approaching and if something isn’t done fast, the fragile home built in 1893 will suffer tremendous damage. Your attendance at the Celebration event will allow us to complete phase one restorations by Walt’s birthday on December 5th of this year! RSVP today!
And if you can’t attend the event, but would still like to support the effort, you can join the cause on our StartSomeGood page HERE.
That’s all we’ve got for this week. I’m away on vacation next week, so we’ll see you in two weeks! Let us hear your comments below!
