Photographer, Videographer, former (and hopefully future) cast member. Scott comes from several generations of Disney Cast Members, dating back to his grandfather, Fred Attula, who worked as an Engineer at MAPO and his other grandfather, Bill Young, who managed entertainment at the opening of the Magic Kingdom. Both his parents were also Cast members. After completing a College Program at Walt Disney World, Scott returned home to Santa Barbara and spent time at Disneyland photographing and filming the parks. Soon after, he joined MiceChat. Scott can be seen at the parks on a semi-frequent basis trying to get that perfect angle. That's when he's not at BYU-Idaho pursuing a degree in Business Management. As September drew to a close, over one hundred and fifty MiceChatters met up at Knott's Scary Farm to partake in another year of the haunt. I'd like to apologize in advance, this re-cap took a while to put together...

Fireworks are a magical experience at any Disney Park. The fireworks show at Disneyland dates back to Walt Disney, who wanted to leave guests with a "kiss goodnight," a tradition that has continued to this day. But photographing the...
If you're like me, you like a good challenge. As a photographer, the most difficult subject is one without enough light on it! There are workarounds, though, so it IS possible to photograph dark rides at the Disney parks. This...
Welcome to "What's in My Camera Bag?" where you'll learn what kind of gear I use to shoot at the parks. This feature will be the first in a photography-focused column "Photographing Disneyland" for MiceChat. I'd like to preface this...
We have bright and shiny new photos for you folks of all the action going on at Disney California Adventure and Downtown Disney.  Guardians of the Galaxy has begun testing the drop towers. Midway Mania has joined the league...
Spring Break heats up at the Disneyland Resort with . . . LOWER . . . crowd levels! We've got some great photos for you of Easter activities, new animation on ASIMO at Autopia, and the latest from around Disneyland Park.
If you happen to be, well, anywhere at the Disneyland Resort right now, you might see a giant red and gold building looming over everything else. No, it's not a monument to remember the failings of the New-New-New Tomorrowland...
Spring Break was in full swing this week, and it brought the Disneyland Resort to a crawl at times. The crowds seem to have brought the warmth as well, as southern California lived up to its sunny reputation with...
So you're one of the lucky few people who were able to snag a Nintendo Switch at launch, congratulations. You now have the option to never stop playing Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and why would you? But you...
Disney California Adventure's beloved Food and Wine Festival returned last year after a lengthy absence, and folks seemed to really enjoy the revived Festival, but were turned off by high prices and small portions. After visiting the festival this...
There's been an operational update at Disneyland in reaction to the large crowds that have been gathering for the Main Street Electrical Parade. According to the image below that was leaked from The Hub (the Cast Member exclusive portal),...
In anticipation for Disney's upcoming live action Beauty and the Beast film, the back portion of Fantasyland has been taken over by Belle, the Beast, and Gaston. Admittedly, it's actually all pretty great. The main attraction is a complete...
It was Valentine's Day this week, but you wouldn't have known it if you were at Disneyland! I visited on Wednesday, it was the perfect time of year/the week for a trip to the park, with low wait times,...
Welcome to a Lunar New Year edition of Dateline Universal Studios Hollywood. Universal invited me out to cover their Lunar New Year festivities. I used my extra time to get reacquainted with the changes to the park. I haven't...
