I love role playing games (RPG). Iím a child of the late 70s/early 80s, so I played AD&D in more basements and library study rooms than I can count. I love the Vampire and Werewolf games from the 90s too. Iíve even done some live role play games (LARP), mostly involving taking over a restaurant or club for an evening or running around the crowded streets of an urban downtown pretending to be a spy or a vampire.

I have two sons. My younger son was recently married, and has no children. My oldest son, was once married, got a divorce, and then decided to have a baby with his girlfriend. So my grandson has had a rocky life from the beginning. I say that because his parents started raising him together under the same roof. However when my grandson was about 2 1/2 his parents split up. A few weeks ago we got our newly transferred home movie back from the processor. I picked it up and somehow resisted the temptation to preview it before the family got together three days later. Mom, Dad, The Brother, The SIL, The Boy, my Beloved and I sat around the old TV and watched the DVD copy of ďFlorida 1976.Ē We started by watching it on the new HDTV, but quickly changed to the low tech non-HD because of the picture quality. Yes, it looked better on the old TV.
