I watched Frozen for the first time this past weekend. Yes, I know, Iím way behind on my current events. In all fairness, my parents took The Boy to see it in the theaters and it was not high on my personal priority list.
When I let The Boy select his own preschool graduation present this past weekend, he chose the Frozen DVD. Of course, we had to watch it as soon as we got home from the store. I had seen mixed opinions/reviews of the movie here on MC and on other Disney fan sites,

I love Halloween. I love everything about it. I love the silly spookiness of the modern American Trick-Or-Treat traditions that have turned the holiday into mainly a kid-friendly evening. I love the darker, scarier roots of the holiday from the days of the early Christian church. I love the deeply symbolic meanings of the season revolving around its earliest incarnations as a festival celebrating life and death and rebirth.

The Boy has finally discovered Disney movies. He has loved Cars, Monsters, Inc. and Finding Nemo for a few years now, but those donít count. They are Pixar movies.
