Take A Shower

Months ago I fired the contractor that I hired to remodel my attic. Long story short, I ended up with a new contractor who is actually a friend and business acquaintance of the first contractor. At first I didn't know what to think. Lately, things are starting to look up.
Yesterday, as the drywallers were finishing up their work, my new contractor arrived at my house. His goal was to finish up the plumbing work in the attic. I figured he'd arrive with another man who he would give orders to. Wrong. He arrived to do the work himself. He had to run off to the Home Depot twice to get parts, but he did indeed do just that. He also went home to get his hacksaw, because a piece was too long. He finished up just shortly before my husband was due home.
The last thing he said as he exited my place was "Take A Shower". He was joking of course, but what he meant was that the attic plumbing is 99.9 percent finished. A few cosmetic changes perhaps, but we should definitely pass inspection, which he is calling in today.
I am smiling, and I hope to continue to do so.
