I couldn't believe what I was seeing the other day when I received an e-mail from my 2nd contractor. The last time that I e-mailed him was January, I believe. I also called him, on his cell phone. Did he respond at that point in time? No, he did not.

This latest e-mail was more of the same. Excuses, apologies, and empty promises. I can't believe that he really thought that I was still waiting on him to complete my project.

Life has been throwing me a lot of curves lately. There just doesn't seem to be enough time to do all the things that I want to do. There's definitely not enough time in a day to do the things that I should be doing.

Today I find myself down on my knees.

I have lived in my house for about 25 years, and ever since I moved in, there has been this carpeting on the stairs and floor of my enclosed back porch. Well after all this time, this carpet has a really horrible odor. Most of that I contribute to the cats that live in my 2 flat building. First my tenant with her two cats, and then my grandson moves in with two more.

Now cats will do what cats will do, Can't blame them for that. ...

I am counting down the days until my next visit to the Disneyland Resort. I made a reservation at a hotel called Dolphin's Cove using my Wyndham Time Share points. I have never stayed there before. I have read a little about the hotel, and I believe that it is close enough to Disneyland for me to navigate easily back and forth.

Right now I am 78 days away. I will be flying into Santa Ana airport, and I understand that I can get a shuttle to my hotel. Not the Disneyland XPress, ...

Where do I begin to explain what has happened since I last posted in my Blog? I got a compliment from my contractor about how patient I was. I actually believed the man at that point in time. I have been so gullible. I later discovered that this 2nd contractor was just as bad as the first one. I now wonder if he ever actually planned on doing anything that he said that he would.
