Patience is one of those things that you either have, or you don't have. I like to think that I'm better than most. Now when I am totally in charge of completing a task, I know that I will get it done, because I can always trust myself. Trusting other people is where the patience comes in. I have been looking forward to the completion of my attic, since I signed the contract back on July 29th of last year. I have imagined it finished so many times in my head. ...
I feel like sending an e-mail to my contractor. Just two words. Your fired!. How long will it take him to figure out that I am upset with him? How long will it take him to realize that I am not happy with the job that he is doing? Or should I say, not doing at this point in time. Perhaps, I am being impatient. Perhaps this is normal contractor behavior. I realize that he is not, physically, doing the work himself and he has to depend on other people. Right after we got the ...
The staircase that is supposed to be built going from the 2nd floor up to the attic has become a mystery to me. I just can't wrap my head around how it is actually going to be configured. When I decided to have my attic remodeled, she was the one person who helped me empty out my attic. She actually had a lot of her own stuff up there, so she was busy finding new places for all of it. However during that process, she was right there with me carrying stuff out to the garbage, an/or finding places to donate it to. Along with that, we were both reorganizing ...
The carpenter knocked on my door yesterday to talk about the front staircase that will go up to the attic. He wanted to go into the tenant's apartment, but she wasn't home. I didn't want to go in because Diana wasn't home, and I can't control her cats. If they snuck out, well I didn't want to take the chance. I showed him my bedroom instead, since it's exactly the same. The stairwell will cut into the wall and ceiling of her larger bedroom, and he needs to see exactly how they will have to do ...
