    It's so funny how memories can sometime steal you away from where you are...some can be happy from a time of sadness, some just the opposite; sometimes, you're given something unique: a memory of something beautiful that makes your current happiness even stronger and more beautiful.

  2. Strong woman seeks stronger male [A singleton's rant]

    So, as some of you know, last week my boyfriend of four months--who I was crazy in love with--broke up with me for what is still, essentially, an unknown reason. Instead of trying to talk it out and fix it like every time before when he freaked out, I gave in.
    This was sparked because I was being a good girlfriend and I wanted to fly out there to see him. Seriously.

    Anyway, here I am one long week later, and all I've figured out is that long distance relationships are tricky ...

  3. Flashbacks and Maturity

    Today I went to DL instead of school. I know, total dream right? But today went kind of suckishly. First off instead of going with just my friends my mom and sibs came too, not that I minded so much as was let down by most of my friends bailing on me at the last minute. Then we had difficulty getting there since my mom's key broke in the door to the house, and when we finally got there we had to trek all over to finally find our group.

    My favorite book is [I]Invisible Monsters[/I] by Chuck Palahniuk (pronounced "paula-nick"), who is best known as the author of [I]Fight Club.[/I] Pretty much everything he's written is twisted and sick and totally wonderfully deep. For instance, [I]Fight Club[/I] looks like it is deeply apathetic to the plight of their fellow man as they are just faking deadly diseases to go to support groups so the main character can sleep, or beating the crap out of each other for relief of daily life. ...
