Work on major construction projects presses on at the Disneyland Resort this week despite a forecast of wet winter weather. In Tomrrowland, Captain EO is moving in as signage for "Honey, I Shrunk the Audience" comes down, and fountain testing continues at California Adventure's new nighttime World of Color water show. Many thanks to MiceChat's Fishbulb for once again providing the photos in this week's column.

WELCOME TO DISNEYLAND!
The new Main Entrance Plaza Stroller Shop opened early last week resulting in the closure of the stroller shops inside the gates of Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure.
The new Stroller Shop is now the only place park guests can rent strollers, wheelchairs, and ECVs.
Inside Disneyland, the Disney Showcase store is now the premier location to find 55th Anniversary merchandise.
Window and in-store displays play up Disneyland nostalgia for the 55th anniversary.
CAPTAIN EO MOVES IN
"Honey, I Shrunk the Audience" signage at the Magic Eye Theatre has been removed as Imagineering works to bring back Captain EO by the end of the month.
RIVERS OF REFURBISHMENT
Frontierland is getting a lot of TLC right now. Not only are the Rivers of America drained for a several-month refurbishment, but the bridge to Frontierland is currently being replaced. The waterways surrounding the Frontierland stockade are currently drained during the bridge refurbishment.
As work gets underway on the Frontierland bridge, work continues on the lengthy Rivers of America refurbishment, which will continue into May.

Disneyland Resort denied rumors that Disney is, in fact, planning a 'Lost' attraction, despite the petitioning from fans of the television show.
EXCLUSIVE: ABC’s ‘Lost’ is not coming to Disneyland: JJ Abrams show finale final
[ . . . ] When asked about this possible change, this columnist was told that according to the Disneyland Resort, there will not be any changes to the park. Asked about the idea of a Lost theme taking over part of the Disneyland Resort, the reply was straight forward, as supplied by Suzi Brown Director, Media Relations at Disneyland.
“Disney has no plans for a Lost attraction nor any plans to change Tom Sawyers Island,” responded this Disney honcho.
That official word said, Disneyland fans can go back to playing at the theme park knowing the precious Tom Sawyer Island is intact. Meanwhile, Lost fans can watch their last season (starting February 2) of the ABC show without the outlandish fantasy that something beyond the show's finale will ever happen in or around The Happiest Place on Earth.
