The big Thanksgiving holiday crowds have passed and Disneyland enters a brief period of relatively light weekday crowds before winter break crowds hit the Resort later this month. This weekend will also see bigger crowds, especially in the evenings at Disneyland as the park hosts its extremely popular Candlelight Processional event. Back in New Orleans Square, the Pirates of the Caribbean has reopened after a lengthy refurbishment and brings some minor changes that will help with the guest experience for those visiting the attraction in a wheelchair. Over at Disney California Adventure, progress continues to be made at the 12-acre Cars Land project, including last week's installation of a new windmill prop. Meanwhile, the Disneyland Hotel's Fantasy Tower continues to move closer to completion with the main entrance area emerging from construction walls and the lobby area getting new art and carpet.

A big thank you to MiceChat's Fishbulb for help with photos this week as I spent the weekend a little under the weather.

Of course, you can always click on any photo featuring a Project Tracker watermark to learn more information on the project or join on-going discussion on the MiceChat forums!

We hope all of our American readers had a great Thanksgiving holiday. Let's see what's new at Disneyland!

Cool, ya I went to dland on black friday (super crowded). the unloading dock is so much bigger, the mist screen has blackbeard and davy jones on it, and they added a skeleton to the cove after the second drop (with the crab). It was pretty cool. Also, there was so much fog in the battle scene, you could not see the water. It was like a rock concert! The last Jack Sparrow looks totally new also. I hope you liked what I had to say, you can PM me for anything else you want to ask. Thanks for the updates!
