Disneyland's annual Halloween Time festivities are now in full swing as for its fifth year with major attractions including Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy and Haunted Mansion Holiday are now ready for fall crowds and the parks (mostly Disneyland) are decked out in their Halloween finest. Getting through Disney California Adventure got a bit easier this week as the permanent connector path between the Hollywood Pictures Backlot and A Bug's Land opened for business. The new path finally puts an end to the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror being a dead-end for the Hollywood-themed area of the park, and the new path can't hurt with the oft-forgotten Flik's Fun Fair area with some increased foot traffic. As the doldrums of summer hit Disneyland park, it's a constant flurry of activity at Disney California Adventure as construction continues on major projects. Disneyland's Rivers of America refurbishment has wrapped up after five months of work. The refurbishment not only got a lot of infrastructure work done, like completely replacing the Mark Twain Riverboat and Sailing Ship Columbia track and rebuilding the aging docks along the River, but guests taking a river cruise will now be treated to enhanced scenery and show elements.
