The inaugural D23 Expo has come and gone, and for Disneyland fans, it didn't disappoint. Fans were treated to an impressive line-up of theme park panel discussions, one-on-one interaction with Imagineers, and an up close and personal look at the massive new Cars Land coming to Disney's California Adventure and the three new lands coming to Hong Kong Disneyland. But don't forget the big news -- after years of rumors, Star Tours II finally got the official announcement.

What a week! Disneyland's reluctant Fantasmic! dragon finally emerged and set the night ablaze for eager fans, Disney bought Marvel Comics, and the D23 folks start setting up for the huge D23 Expo at the Anaheim Convention Center next to Disneyland. All the while, construction continued in both parks and two Disneyland Resort hotels, a new restaurant opened in California Adventure, and the parks continue to gear up for Halloween Time.
