It's been another busy week at the Disneyland Resort! Crowds continue to pour in for Disneyland's annual holiday festivities as work continues on Tomorrowland's Star Tours attraction and refurbishments wind down in Fantasyland and Mickey's Toon Town. Over in California Adventure, change continues to make its mark as Disney announces the date that crews will begin removing the giant C-A-L-I-F-O-R-N-I-A letters at the park's entrance. Inside DCA, work continues on the upcoming Little Mermaid attraction

Disneyland may have celebrated the Thanksgiving weekend without the arrival of the Presidentially-pardoned turkeys, but with the crowds and construction you'd never know the difference. Disneyland is covered in Christmas lights and garland to celebrate the season but California Adventureconstruction crews continue on the major $1 billion overhaul and expansion of the park with little regard to the holiday crowds. Disneyland is in full holiday mode with the return of fan-favorite holiday parades, fireworks and attractions. Yet, while it's a full winter wonderland complete with snow-capped Castle turrets within Disneyland's gates, California Adventure continues to be a maze of construction walls, but that's not a bad thing. Certainly, the California-themed park is getting the best Christmas present it could ask for; a remodel, and Disney's Imagineers continue in earnest to give the park a proper facelift.

Last week marked the final run of Disneyland's annual Halloween Time offerings, but despite hundreds of jack-o-lanterns still lining Main Street, U.S.A., Christmas decorations were popping up all over the place. Sleeping Beauty Castle is already covered in its holiday snow cover, and New Orleans Square is now celebrating Christmas, Mardi Gras-style.
