The big storms have come and gone and construction crews are getting back in the swing of things at big projects in both Disneyland Resort theme parks. At Disneyland work continues in Tomorrowland's Magic Eye Theatre as Captain EO prepares for his big return. Nearby, the Starcade is undergoing a much-needed refurbishment, and in Frontierland, work continues on a several-month refurbishment of the Rivers of America. Work on major construction projects presses on at the Disneyland Resort this week despite a forecast of wet winter weather. In Tomrrowland, Captain EO is moving in as signage for "Honey, I Shrunk the Audience" comes down, and fountain testing continues at California Adventure's new nighttime World of Color water show. We're only a week into the new year, and the Disneyland Resort has become a maze of construction walls as Disney takes advantage of the winter off season to start new construction projects in California Adventure and take care of some standard maintenance at Disneyland. The Rivers of America have been drained and begin their major refurbishment that will last through May.
