Today I got to work on a cardiology unit and even though all I did was take vitals (via a cool machine!), give bed baths, and get water, I felt like I had a sense of purpose and what I did mattered. It was a good day.

I'm taking this acute care class, where you learn how to work in a hospital, it's like 2 days of class and lecture, 5 clinical days, and one test. So I'm learning in the VA which units I like the most. So, I'm... moving along. Thing I learned today (aside from I like doing this) : The med students/student mds in the cardiology unit are HOT! Seriously there was an Edward Cullen with blonde hair, med student hanging out at the nurses station. I wanted to jump over the desk.
