I got into the CNA progam officially last week! Yay! CNA is step one, step two is LVN, then pre-reqs and RN program. I was thinking about it a few weeks ago and I've never been one of those people that wanted the office job. Since I was a kid I've been taking care of people. So being a nurse makes sense. Since Friday life has been kinda' chaotic. We got a new guide dog pup, Gabriel, that we weren't really planning on. He's 100% male yellow lab and tiny! He's super sweet, he sounds like a guinea pig or a pot belly pig, doesn't bark really, just grunts and oinks. I forgot how much work Pearl was as a puppy puppy and now... dude! Plus we're up to our eyeballs in puppy stuff (got him Friday, a puppy car show Sunday, a vest sewing, camping trip, and graduation this weekend-Pearl's older brother graduates, ...

Today has been a "critter day." And not in the good way.

-I almost hit a coyote because it darted out in front of my car.
- Took Pearl out for a walk, 8 houses down from mine, I see a big cat dashing between houses and trees. Not Garfield, but like a big cat. It was Pearl's size, huge leg span, tufts of hair around the ears, and all sand color with no stripes or spots but at the tip of the tail 2 gray/black stripes with the tip black/gray. So tomorrow is step two in becoming a nurse. A million steps will follow, but I am nervous for tomorrow. I registered for classes, but then got a letter back saying they couldn't register me for the CNA class until I passed (and was/am in the top 18 testers) an entrance exam. From what I understand it's reading comprehension, but I am nervous. I studied. I got two Exit exam study books at the library just to practice. I haven't been in school for 2ish years so I'm just afraid that things slipped. ...

First thing because I am currently totally unnerved: I think I was just asked out on myspace. That is Disney related because this guy asked me to go to Disneyland with him. Kinda' freaked by that (because I don't know the guy and his spelling is so bad.). The rest of this entry isn't Disney related.
