1. Why do people post in the main forums mean things in users threads? They usually have nothing to do with the OP thoughts, comments or ideas. If all you want to do is criticize someone then take it to a PM.
2. If you do have a problem with someone then deal with that person directly, don't play he said/she said or make snide comments.
Just for today practice some kindness and forgiveness.
Words and or phrases that are bothering me today:
When a bad accident happens and the person survives has horrible injuries someone will say 'They were lucky'. If they were lucky they would not have been in the accident in the first place.
"It was in the last place I looked". Well duh, why would you keep looking if you found it. Of course you are going to stop looking once you find it.
Need versus Want. I am tired of people who confuse need vs.
This past Sunday we went to a 'rememberence' of a former co-worker of Tim's. "Dom" was such a gentle soul, people could be completely freaking out all around him and he just did not feel the need to get stressed. As his wife said Sunday, he was just content 'to be'. Please join me in remembering a great icon of the entertainment community. The Pillsbury Doughboy died yesterday of a yeast infection and trauma complications from repeated pokes in the belly. He was 71.
Doughboy was buried in a lightly greased coffin. Dozens of celebrities turned out to pay their respects, including Mrs. Butterworth, Hungry Jack, the California Raisins, Betty Crocker, the Hostess Twinkies, and Captain Crunch. The grave site was piled high with flours.
First off I will start by saying my family puts the DYS in Dysfunctional. My parents were married for 7 years, had 2 kids and were divorced by the time I was 5 although they probably only lived together for a total of 2 years. Both parents went on to re-marry and then within a year of each other each had sons. My dad's son Andy I only knew on weekends and summers until I was an adult and then only on holidays. His mom divorced my dad and moved to Denver when he was 14 and other than my dad's funeral
