Disney California Adventure celebrated the long Fourth of July weekend by opening two new dining locations, officially launching a re-themed attraction, and introducing a new holiday-themed World of Color pre-show. The park's big winner of the weekend is the wonderful new Paradise Garden dining area which houses two excellent new restaurants in a beautiful new Victorian-style seaside garden that seats 900 guests. Almost two years ago, on July 29, 2009, I signed the contract on my attic. It has been a real life lesson, and also a nightmare of a project. We are now very close to getting done. Work is scheduled for next week, that could put us very close to finally getting this project finished. Of course, it won't be livable, until the city comes in and inspects it, and presents me with a Certificate of Occupancy.
