The countdown to Disneyland's holiday season is underway as the parks put the finishing touches on the Christmas festivities before the officially begin on Friday. Like clockwork, filming took place this weekend, as it does every year around this time, for the annual DisneyParks Christmas Day Parade. Singer and actor Nick Cannon took center stage as host of Disneyland's portion of the parade and Disney stars including Selena Gomez and Dancing with the Stars cast members performed in front of Sleeping

Sometimes I feel like I ramble on too much. Seeing my thoughts in print sometimes gives me comfort, and then other times I type, and then I hit the backspace and wash it all away.
I am waiting at the moment. I need a vacation, and I need it bad. I need to get away from the chaos that my attic project has caused in my household. I need to see Disneyland again. One never knows as one gets older what tomorrow might hold.

What a difference two weeks makes! Last week we were in the far off kingdoms of Harry Potter and Walt Disney World. Now we are back in our home parks of Southern California to find them nearly transformed from Halloween to Christmas. We'll be taking a look at a record 9 parks total this week. Last week marked the final run of Disneyland's annual Halloween Time offerings, but despite hundreds of jack-o-lanterns still lining Main Street, U.S.A., Christmas decorations were popping up all over the place. Sleeping Beauty Castle is already covered in its holiday snow cover, and New Orleans Square is now celebrating Christmas, Mardi Gras-style.
