  1. Countdown to World of Color, Test Cars, Star Tours sets closing date, Swings, + MORE!

    by , 05-16-2010 at 10:21 PM
Last week came and went and World of Color continued testing, but didn't make the jump to public soft openings. Disney's official word is that no soft openings will happen, but with a show this big and with expectations so high, it's hard to imagine public test runs not happening. In any case, the Dateline Disneyland team is keeping an eye on the show as signage around California Adventure's Blue Sky Cellar touts the "Countdown to World of Color." Meanwhile, other big projects around the park ...
  2. Ashes over Disneyland Paris; Lots-o-Huggin' Bear; Haunted Whaley House, Key West

  4. Goals for Summer 2010

    by , 05-13-2010 at 01:36 PM
Something I haven't done in awhile is write down some short term goals for myself. Lately, my life has been full of boring (literally) since I haven't been in a school, and I haven't had a job I thought it was time for me to get some goals moving.

    1. Get A's in both of my photo classes.
    2. Learn how to make pizza from scratch (haha, don't ask, but I've always wanted to do this!)
    3. Take a drive from Laguna Beach down to San Diego using PCH and stay in SD for a weekend (This ...
  5. Uneasy Feeling

    by , 05-13-2010 at 05:12 AM
I don't know why I have an uneasy feeling about the plumber beginning his work tomorrow in my attic. Because of the building code, the attic bathroom will not be directly above the other two bathrooms in my building. I'm not quite sure how all those plumbing pipes are going to be connected. Then there's the matter of water being pumped up that high, and well, I have a million questions.

Contractors seem to hire a lot of subcontractors who don't speak very good English, and I couldn't ...
