Okay for me anything over $75 on one thing is a big purchase. I am a cheap-skate, what can I say? But with National Novel Writing Month coming up (eek!) and my sticky keyboard Alphasmart Pro that probably dates back from the 1990s, early 1990s too I am not talking about 1995 and up (because then I'd be dating myself), probably won't help me write my novel this year. The keys stick, it's slow, and oh yeah the cords no longer really work with the technology I have.
Now we have one computer
Had a BLAST yesterday with my proxy family!!
Pumpkin and gourd hunting at Lombardi Ranch (an October tradition!).
Fabulous non stop Tangertinis that were oh so Halloweenie.
Mrs. Beasleys yummy cakes.
An awesome music playlist.
Lots and lots of laughs.
Just what the doctor ordered :D

I did manage to take a quick break this afternoon and see a movie with my fab alterna-husband. My "real" husband is playing poker tonight, so that frees up my evening

I was terrified and I had all the typical worries on whether everything in my life was in place. Sadly, it wasn't. I truly admire people that can answer yes it is to that question.
Things seem to be finally settling in my life after the crazy past month.
I find out today if I can take the walking cast off, and with any luck, I can :D
Cooler weather has arrived, which makes me oh so happy because it actually feels a bit like autumn.
I get to go hang with my proxy family Saturday, hunting pumpkins at a local ranch, then having dinner, playing games and drinking cocktails.
Brians last day is next week, which means I'll get
