Pretty Good Year

2007 is almost officially over. It's been a wild ride.
I've had a lot of complaints this year, and it seems like there were so many things that didn't go quite right, but I have to say overall what a good year it's been.
Some of you may know I had a nervous breakdown in February, mostly due to my job and mounting stress over our upcoming wedding. What a lot of people don't know is how much of a recovery I've made, and how much my friends have helped me with getting back on my feet. In particular, the DMCA as a whole has been instrumental in me regaining my mental health. I now feel stronger, optimistic, and able to handle whatever comes next - good or bad.
Also, planning the wedding. While there's been a lot of stress involved, I feel lucky to be able to have such a beautiful wonderful amazing wedding, with an equally beautiful, wonderful and amazing man. Every day I thank God for bringing Anders into my life. He's truly been a blessing. He's sweet, patient, sensitive, smart, funny, and knows just what I need when I need it. I look forward to our wedding in June, and being by his side for the rest of our lives.
Paige. My daughter is now 13, which has brought no small amount of worry and stress into my life. She's had a very eventful year, and while at times I despaired of her ever not being the "Bratty Teen", I know what a good kid she really is. She's smart, funny, and has a very powerful sense of individuality. She doesn't just go with the crowd, even when that would be easier for her. I love my child for how she is, and I'm so proud of the kind of kid she's turning out to be.
