Weekend Update – Merry Tokyo Disneyland Christmas
The Weekend Update takes us back to the fantastic Tokyo Disneyland Resort today. The focus this week is on entertainment. We have learned through the Weekend Update reports from Tokyo over the years that the Japanese really know how to put on a show. Then, SummerInFL and her mom share a visit to the Vizcaya Museum & Gardens in the Coconut Grove neighborhood of Miami. Her photos of the former estate of James Deering, of the Deering McCormick-International Harvester fortune give us a peek into the lifestyles of the 1%. Weekend Update: It’s A Very Disney Christmas at WDW and Tokyo Disneyland
We have a holiday packed Weekend Update today. We start out with a report from Walt Disney World courtesy of Denise Preskitt. She moves all around the resort covering the holiday finery at the hotels and the parks. Roger55 is back with more of his spectacular report from the Tokyo Disneyland Resort. Weekend Update – Shrek the Halls, Four Disneylands, and Vintage Postcards
It's a special Weekend Update today, we'll be visiting four Magic Kingdom parks all over the globe in just one afternoon? First up is "ICE! Shrek the Halls" exhibit at the Gaylord Palms Hotel in Orlando. Two million pounds of ice is used to create this offbeat diversion. Then we see some great photos from the Disney side of Orlando. Next up are some fantastic photos of the Christmas decorations at Tokyo Disneyland. That's followed by some vintage post cards from Ken Eslick at DisneylandPostcards.net. Weekend Update – Halloween at Tokyo Disneyland and Disney World
Welcome to the Halloween edition of the Weekend Update. Ichigopara takes some time out to share Halloween images from Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySeas. We aren't sure which is more stunning – the costumes and decorations or Trish's photography of same. SummerInFL joined the MiceChatters for their annual Walt Disney World Invasion. The Florida resort is looking pretty good. The MiceChatters look like they were having a classic MiceChat grand old time. Sir Clinksalot spent a very busy October visiting Halloween events at theme parks all over Southern California. This week he presents a recap of his experiences. Weekend Update Three Unique Disney Worlds
Today's Weekend Update is a celebration of Disney parks around the world. Up first are fantastic shots of the taping of Walt Disney World's annual Christmas Day Parade TV special complete with photos of the Jonas Brothers, Kelly Ripa, and Steve Rushton. We also have unique shots of Epcot's nighttime fireworks spectacular and an on stage look at Animal Kingdom's Flights of Wonder show. From Walt Disney World, we travel to Paris for look at the glorious holiday decorations and sparkling winter theme. But that's not all, we still have Tokyo Disney Sea to visit today, a park which is always a feast for the eyes. And we finish up today's world tour with some absolutely fabulous vintage postcards from Walt Disney World and Sea World Orlando!
