What better way to start your week and celebrate Earth Day than with a Disneyland update from MiceChat blogger Andy Castro.
This week, the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique makeovers of young princesses and knights is in full swing. The Celebration Roundup Barbecue makes some pricing changes and the crowds begin to arrive. The popular Food and Wine Festival returns to Disney’s California Adventure this Friday. More tantalizing photos of the Paradise Pier construction. Blue Sky Cellar merchandise is available with the slogan “Just a Dream Away.” Earth Day Merchandise is also available with the slogans “It’s Easy Being Green” and “Love the Land.” The top 20 theme parks in total attendance has been released, and the strong numbers may surprise you. And the Anaheim Garden Walk extends generous discounts to Disneyland Annual Passholders.
All this plus tons of photos and commentary in today’s Dateline Disneyland Theme Park Blog – HERE

Rep. Trent Franks is OBVIOUSLY absolutely right. The idea of tax dollars being spent to transport consumers from one tourist trap to another shows where our President’s priorities are — somewhere deep in his own fat wallet.

CALMAN,
Transporting “Tourists” and potential conventioneers between LA and Vegas is exactly the sort of thing that may save the tourism economies of both areas.
This really doesn’t have anything to do with the President. These were plans hatched regionally and we are simply trying to get stimulus money to make the dream come true. It would be a great thing for the Disney Company (and hundreds of other regional attractions and convention areas) and for the struggling economy in Vegas.
