Spring is bursting into bloom at the Disneyland Resort, and not just the flowers. The first of Paradise Pier’s major changes are just beginning to bud. The new Paradise Pier sign as replaced Mickey’s ears above the loop on California Screamin’. Mickey’s Fun Wheel and the Paradise Pier carousel are both nearing completion of their transformation. And construction walls can hardly contain the enthusiastic change which takes place behind them. ate

On the other side of the esplanade, Disneyland is seeing change of her own. The “Disneyland the First 50 Magical Years” show and display closed forever on March 15th and will soon be replaced with the return of Abraham Lincoln (in some form or other). Changes will include an expansion of the lobby area to include a new Disney Gallery shopping area. Elsewhere in Disneyland, the new Celebration Station is taking final shape in the back of the park on the old Thunder Ranch dining location - it is scheduled to open the beginning of April.
Once again, Andy Castro fills us in on all the current Disneyland news, information, schedules, events, and documents it all in beautiful photos.
