Dateline Disneyland returns with photos and news from Disneyland, Disney’s California Adventure, and Downtown Disney. This week, tons of photos from the Paradise Pier area of California Adventure, where new restrooms have opened, the lagoon gets closer to its World of Color goals, and the King Triton’s Carousel prepares to reopen WITHOUT the fancy new Victorian decorations which were featured in the original concepts for the Pier area. Budget cuts to the Pier place-making project continue to be made, leaving ugly little chunks of the old DCA among the beautiful new bits.
At Disneyland, the Astro Orbit0r is quickly being reassembled for her relaunch, the old cosmic waves is being filled in, and Zocalo Park gets some water fountains.
The Grand Californian expansion nears completion with final exterior details being added, such as pools and planting. And Downtown Disney has a new tenant on the way.
As always, Andy includes lots of operitional updates, news, and tons of beautiful photos.

So glad to see they’re using Harbor Galley again!
It was rather odd having two McDonald’s locations
especially since they were across the River from each other!
