Bright suns, Star Wars fans! Disney has announced that all-new adventures featuring characters and locations from “Ahsoka,” “Andor,” and “The Mandalorian” will soon be added to Star Tours—The Adventures Continue attractions at Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and Disneyland Paris.

Star Tours

Similar to Avengers Campus, which sees new characters appear in the land along with (or soon after) their appearances on movie and TV screens, the expansion of the Star Wars universe—including the Disney+ original series and spin-offs—has provided opportunities for Disney to add new characters to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

Adding new scenes and characters to Star Tours, however, requires more than casting in-park performers, as Imagineering needs to coordinate with each show’s production schedule. Logistics notwithstanding, Disney says Star Tours riders may encounter urgent transmissions from Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson), Cassian Andor (Diego Luna), Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal), and Grogu starting April 5, 2024. They may also visit Peridea, the planet from “Ahsoka.”

With these additions, Star Tours will offer more than 250 storyline variations aboard the attraction’s daily Starspeeder flights.

Season of the Force

The launch of new Star Tours experiences on April 5 coincides with the beginning of Season of the Force in Disneyland Park. The limited-time seasonal celebration will take place through June 2, 2024, including the extremely popular Hyperspace Mountain attraction overlay of Space Mountain and themed food, beverages, and merchandise.

Debuting this year during Season of the Force, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will provide “a fresh perspective on the fireworks above Disneyland park,” as new galactic music “sweeps through the spires” on nights when fireworks are offered.

Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite

On select dates during April and May, separately ticketed Disneyland After Hours: Star Wars Nite events will feature a costume cavalcade, lightsaber instruction, and a “Gathering of the Resistance” at the Millennium Falcon in Galaxy’s Edge. At the time of writing, tickets are still available for April 16, 18, 23, 25, 30, and May 7 and 8, 2024.
