Welcome back to Dateline Disneyland! It's been a busy week at the Disneyland Resort with the opening of the new "Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln," a couple new offerings in Downtown Disney, and on-going work on the various projects in Disney's California Adventure. As the Resort buzzes with activity is also quietly observing last week's death of Roy E. Disney with Disney flags at half-staff.

What a week! Last Monday Disney announced its new "Give a Day, Get a Disney Day" theme park marketing campaign for 2010. The new campaign is led by the Muppets and will give free tickets to Disney theme parks for 1 million guests in exchange for a day of community service. Meanwhile, in the parks, Disneyland has opened the doors to the new home of the Disney Gallery and the newly re-worked lobby of the Main Street Opera House. Welcome to the June 22 edition of Dateline Disneyland. Kobe Bryant visited Disneyland Thursday and starred in a victory parade following the Los Angeles Lakers' big win. In Tomorrowland, new trees have been added in the planters in the former Cosmic Waves area, surrounding the remaining granite water ball.
