  1. Disney/Pixar Takes Four Awards on Oscar Night

    On a night when [I]The King's Speech[/I] reigned over the Academy Awards, Disney and Pixar performed royally, winning a total of four Oscars, two each for [I]Toy Story 3[/I] and [I]Alice in Wonderland[/I].

    As expected, [I]Toy Story 3[/I] won for Best Animated Feature, beating out [I]How to Train Your Dragon[/I] and [I]The Illusionist[/I]. It also won Best Original Song ...

    OK, let's get the gripes out of the way.

    First, "Toy Story 3" is not as good as "Toy Story" or "Toy Story 2." But, then again, Michelangelo's David wasn't as good as the Sistine Chapel ceiling.

    Second, seeing "Toy Story 3" in 3D is totally unnecessary. The effect is subtle and adds absolutely ...
