WELCOME TO DISNEYLAND!
Spring is in full-bloom already around Disneyland. The hub is bright and full of spring time color.

The landscaping at Disneyland during this time is amazing.

HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR!
Disney is celebrating the "Year of the Mouse" this year at Disneyland (a much larger celebration is taking place at Hong Kong Disneyland). Mickey and Minnie are posing for photos in traditional Chinese attire through February 29 in honor of the celebration.

Signage informs guests on the significance of the Lunar New Year and the way it is celebrated in the various Asian cultures.

REFURBLAND
Main Street continues to get various TLC. The Disney Showcase annex has been covered in a painted tarp for its refurbishment.

And Disney Clothiers was still covered as its refurbishment pressed on throughout the week.

The Jungle Cruise is closed for refurbishment until early March.

King Arthur's Carrousel in Fantasyland has been closed unexpectedly for some work.

CONSTRUCTIONLAND
Over at California Adventure, an area to the side of the Grizzly Recreation Area pathway across from Rushin' River Outfitters has been walled off for some time. Here's a look at what's going on behind the construction wall.

And work progresses on Paradise Pier's upcoming Toy Story Mania! attraction.

MOUSELLANEOUS
The Disneyland Dream Suite stair case signs now light up in the evening.

Over in Frontierland, the Westward Ho! Trading Company has ditched its seasonal merchandise and has become a pin trading location. The pins are coming from Silver Spur, an adjacent shop which was previously the pin shop in Frontierland. Silver Spur is now selling even more of the women's clothing from the store next door.

And finally, the Disneyana is now selling a new Walt Disney Classics Collection figurine of Mr. Coots from Pirates of the Caribbean.

The piece runs $300 and is limited, numbered edition of 500.

It's pretty darn cool!

Do you know where they have moved the Christmas ornaments to?
When I first started buying them the Christmas shop was in the castle (around 1985). Then they moved to New Orleans until just a few years ago. For a short time they were in Fantasyland near Village Haus. Next they got moved to Frontierland and now ??Posted 02-15-2008 at 09:02 AM by pratt55

I believe that the China Closet on Main Street USA offers a year-round selection of ornaments.Quote:Originally Posted by pratt55Do you know where they have moved the Christmas ornaments to?

L'Ornement Magique in New Orleans Square still offers Disneyland-exclusive Christopher Radko ornaments.Posted 02-15-2008 at 11:04 AM by MasterGracey
