WELCOME TO HALLOWEENTIME!
Disney has rolled out this year's line of Halloween merchandise with a selection that is notably larger than last year's.

World of Disney in Downtown Disney has converted the Toon Town-themed display room into Halloween headquarters.

Mickey-O-Lantern - $15.95

Jack-O-Lantern - $15.95

Metal Lantern - $19.95 / Paper Luminaries (Set of 6) - $9.95 / Jack Skellington lights - $15.95

Women's top - $28.00

Lenticular Juice Cups - $12.00

Lenticular placemat - $3.95

Mickey and Minnie Halloween plush - $14.00

Candy Corn - $3.95

Lollipops (3 pack) - $4.00

Candy Corn antenna topper - $5.00

Spider antenna topper - $5.00

PREVIEW CENTER
Inside Disney's California Adventure, the upcoming Resort Preview Center is continuing to be worked on as it prepares for a mid-September opening.

The wood benches lining the planters in the small outdoor queue are being replaced.

WATER PLAY AREAS RE-OPEN
The two water play areas in a bug's land are open again after being briefly closed last week for some work.

DIVIDED 56
In Downtown Disney, Department 56 continues its downsizing project.

Plastic still divides the store from its former other half.

Behind the plastic, a new wall is nearly completed. I wonder what will be moving into the newly-created space?

NEW COLLECTIBLES
With the release of the last set of the Disney U.S. Postal Stamps, "Art of Disney Imagination," a couple limited-edition framed options as well as commemorative pins were released.

If you don't care for the pricey framed sets, you can just get the unframed day-of-issue stamps for only $6.

Also, these have been available for a few weeks now, but a second wave of Olszewski "Pokit Pals" have been released. Aloha Tiki Pokit Pal - $20

Alice in Wonderland ride vehicle - $20

Mark I Monorail - $18

Tinker Bell Mirror - $22

The new Walt Disney's Legends of Imagineering and the Genesis of the Disney Theme Park book is available early at Disneyana on Main Street. This book is not officially slated to be released until August 28. The book costs $35.

AROUND THE PARK
And finally, various shots from around the park.

Wow, it never ceases to amaze us the amount of pure junk that this place puts on sale and expects people to overpay for. I shouldn't be suprised though, they still peddle those horrible, horrible pins that people pay upwards of $9.00. You DO know they are made for less than 60cents each, dont you??Posted 08-15-2008 at 10:59 AM by sixflagsrules

Next to Disneyana, on Main Street, there is a Disneyland Casting Agency door dedicated to Walt Disney and the Cast Members of Disneyland. That photo is part of the door.Quote:Originally Posted by pirateslife4meWhere is the last picture at within the park?
