WELCOME TO DISNEYLAND!
The shiny new Monorail Blue continues test runs during park operating hours.

Work at Ariel's Grotto is already underway, removing the under-the-sea theming so Tinker Bell can move in.

HYPING HALLOWEEN
Ads for the special-ticket Mickey's Trick-Or-Treat Party at Disney's California Adventure have been added at the exit turnstiles at both parks.

SELLING HALLOWEEN
The Disney Showcase shop on Main Street has been converted into Disneyland park's Halloween headquarters.

Earlier this month, we showed you lots of new Halloween merch that Disneyland recently rolled out, and this week there's even more.
Women's tee: $28 / Larger sizes $30

Mug: $11.95

Mickey Candy Corn ornament: $12

Glow-in-the-dark tote bag: $8

Flashing ring: $3

Minnie Mouse witch hat: $22

There are also several new Halloween art collectibles out now at Disneyana on Main Street in Disneyland and Off the Page in the Hollywood Pictures Backlot in California Adventure.
Dave Avanzino's new Halloween-style Disneyland icon letters shadowbox is now available.

A new Donald and Daisy villains big figure set is out now as well.

And a Mickey and Minnie jack-o-lanterns big fig (much like the ones that appear atop Disneyland's main gate turnstiles during HalloweenTime) is now on sale.

New Halloween-themed Disney Traditions pieces by Jim Shore are available now.

"A Spellbinding Halloween" - $42

"Playing Tricks and Sharing" - $37.50

"Happy Haunts" - $31.50

And back in Disneyland, the light-up directional signage used in the Central Plaza during fireworks have gotten a minor redesign that features a typeface more fitting of Main Street, U.S.A.

AROUND THE PARKS
And finally, various sights around the parks.

| | I really liked your shot of the (Rancho del Zocalo?) light fixture where you can see the star-shaped cutouts shining on the wall behind the fixture! Your photographic eye is getting better and better all the time! Happy Labor Day! |

| | Aw, man! Now, not only do I miss DL, I also want to watch "Disney's Halloween Treat" (thanks to the Huey, Dewey and Louie figure)! I'm pretty sure that show doesn't air anymore. Am I wrong? I wouldn't be missing these things if this update wasn't so great! |
