I'm shocked - even two days later. Pastor Greg Laurie of Harvest Christian Fellowship lost his son in a horrible car accident on Thursday Morning. Well, we had a company meeting on Thursday 4/24 which was very cool. They brought in lunch and discussed the Team Day. What that entails is that everyone shows up for work, but they close the company for the day and take everyone to Disneyland! HOW COOL IS THAT!? It's mandatory....I mean, heck, they pay you to go to Disneyland....hello?! Since we've been living with my parents, I have seen things that bother me. I never realized before what horrible eating habits my parents have. And to add to that, they don't exercise in the least. Before I married, this stuff never crossed my mind.....but since I have been married, I've lived a life of good eating, and exercise.......so coming back to my folks house for a time has been shocking.

Both of my parents have Type2 Diabetes....my Dad weighs around 400 lbs and Mom's probably...

Well, today is the deadline to pay $1600 to the Franchise Tax Board for the reassessment of our 2005 State Taxes.

I spoke to a fellow yesterday at the Franchise Tax Board.......and he said if we are Protesting it, we don't have to pay........but if they find we are liable to pay, then we'll have to pay - but there is an 8% rate of interest daily until they take our case and so forth. They thing is, it can take up to 5 months before someone takes our case! Can you believe it? Ridiculous....
