It might surprise you to know that I actually like Disneyland, cheese, movies about aliens, corn, and tropical fish. But not necessarily in that order. And while I've always thought that shoe horns were handy, they are not among my favorite things.

As long as we are confessing, that post was a test of being able to insert video into the blogs. Someone posted about it in the forums and I needed to test out the instructions.

Belated query; what kinds of cheese?
Answer carefully, your life may depend on it. Or at least your reputation...Posted 06-24-2009 at 05:26 AM by monotonehell - I like artisan cheeses. Cheeses that go well with wine and have unique character. There has been a big surge in interest in wine in America. People are learning to appreciate the subtle character of the different varietals. The same is true for cheese. Goat, Cow, Buffalo, Sheep, age, how it it stored, what is added, pasteurized or unpasteurized, smelly, sweat, salty, savory . . . it is really a fascinating thing.
I really do encourage people to move beyond cheddar and cheese spread and actually explore the big beautiful world of artisan cheeses.
