I went on a road trip this weekend (so translates to I'm still on said road trip) and I'm astounded by the sheer gorgeousness and diversity of our country. Driving through just Washington alone, at midnight to 5 am no less, I saw lush green to desert looking areas. In northern Idaho just a long river (Idaho was the most scary for me). I'm now getting benefits from work. Yay! I feel like a grown up. I've never been able to get benefits from my job before for me. Suddenly looking at the paperwork for health, dental, life insurance, and death and dismemberment insurance (dismemeber?!) I sat feeling overwhelmingly like a kid and didn't understand any of it. I think I picked out a plan that's good for me. But then I got all weirded out about the life insurance stuff... Mortality, yay! Seriously can I just be a werewolf/shapeshifter...

So my new laptop comes in 7 days, but I will be without a computer for 7. Hopefully the math makes sense. Night.

Somehow in the last 24 hours the skin around my eyes have developed giant blue-purple bags with the thin skin, wrinkled lightly making almost devits (sp?) on my cheek bones. I have the distinct look of some nocturnal creature, very fitting I suppose, that hunts game or prey in the wee hours of the night. It would be striking to see, especially given my fair complexion, but it being that this half-nocturnal predator/half human is me... It's not. I almost look like a vampire from "Twilight"...
