The beatdown.

That's kinda' what I'm feeling right now when it comes to school.
Washington's nursing requirements are completely different from Californias. I've posted that a few times. So I was okay with taking a ton of classes and following their protocol of how things run. Just read in the paper this morning that Skagit Valley College is now changing their requirements so that I have to have a B in all the really hard classes (chemistry for example) they are making me take. I am lucky to pass. I was thinking "sweet! I'm getting a C!" Now it's a 3.0 with all the nursing requirements and an interview. It's ridiculous. I can't do this. I'm... it's like a mental beat down because I was so high scoring in my CNA class in California, then impressed all the right people in the LVN program, then busted my tush... and here it means nothing.
The country needs nurses yet they do this? What's that about? I have to call every place in the next few minutes and get a tutor along with call the counselor. I'm so frustrated right now. Like part of me just wants to move back to California, go to Redlands Adult School and start their program, but I'm too late because the process already started with interviewing and such... OY!
