Before my nap I could feel my heart beating harder and faster than normal. I think it might be a good idea just to slow down a little bit . . .

This is what I wrote on my bio page for an online class I'm taking.
I have a full time job, I buy and resell various collectibles, and am a full time student with a social life. Somehow that still isn't enough. Everything, everywhere, everyone always wants more more more. I'm working on pushing my limits and finding out what's out there in those outer rings of sanity. Have you ever been there? Were there magical leoplurodons?
With that said, I feel like I'm not doing enough still. I stood at the bottom of the stairs for a minute to think of what I've done since I got home from work. I've taken a nap, surfed the net, talked to people, typed up notes, checked personal and class emails, did the dishes, made dinner for myself, made cookie dough, cleaned my room, checked on my checking and savings, read the news, laundry, and cleaned out my car. So I'm wondering to myself, what do I do now? Although I do like to relax shortly once in a while, I like to keep on going and pushing through it like I'm superman. I even wanted to stay at work longer today just to extend my fun little workout, but I had things I needed to do.

I guess it might be from my youth. I've talked with my manager and she was the same way when she was younger. She couldn't just spend the night at home and rest, she had to be out doing something. Now she tries to rest as much as she can because life calls back to her.

I could read a book but I fidget if I sit for too long. Don't even try taking me to a movie, I'll fidget and stretch and everything the entire time. I need to be actively doing something, when I get enough sleep I have energy overloads. So what can I do?

Tiki fountain sold!

I can pay for dinner at Club 33 now so I'm happy. The odd thing was there were three other fountains that had sold for much less than mine on a "buy it now". Two for 295 and one for 400. There's another one for 550 on buy it now with an hour and 45 minutes left to buy it. I'm happy with the price I got for mine and it looks like I lucked out just the right time before everyone who got their fountain from DelivEARS put it on ebay. Now I just hope that the person who bought mine actually pays. I think I'll keep my other one around maybe as a gift, maybe as a MiceChat event prize.

(taken from the thread)

Okay so I'm having a hard time deciding what to do. I was there at 5:30 the morning of the event, second person to be there, the first was an older retired guy from Yuma, AZ. I was a couple people behind when they first announced they were out of fountains. When my group was let in to the store they had just found a few more in the back and I quickly scooped up the two fountains that I had come for.

I have one proudly on display on the coffee table downstairs. The other is currently sitting on a shelf in my closet. I have a few options that I've thought about, but nothing set in stone of course. What do you guys suggest I do with the other?

GhostHostJeff
I say sell it on eBay. Get what you can for it and just put the money aside for the next Disneyland event.
I could, they're going for $350 easily. My father is even asking about it, "So when are you going to put the fountain on ebay?" The only problem is how many people would be pissed just on this board alone that instead of giving them the chance to buy it, I instead took the money of someone who couldn't be there or couldn't be there early enough.

JiminyCricketFan
I assume this is a rhetorical question, but if you are serious and really want a suggestion...

Sell the fountain and give the proceeds to charity. There are many needy people in this world. Make both the buyer and someone else happy. You will feel the good feeling of a deed well done.
MelonBaller
Hmmm, maybe what you could do is you could sell it here on Micechat to the highest bidder. You then keep the amount you paid for it and all the profits could be donated to Micechat to help keep it running. Just an idea.
One of the ideas I was tossing around actually, well slightly. I was thinking of doing a raffle and whoever won would have their chance at buying it at the original price instead of the inflated ebay price. I wouldn't be giving it away like a normal raffle, but they would have a fair raffle chance at getting it.

Another idea was to donate it as an event prize. My father totally does not condone giving it to the site for free though, "You should put it on ebay and see what you get."

So to coinside with my love of being able to just pack up and go, I've started the 100 Thing Challenge.

http://zenhabits.net/2007/09/minimalist-fun-the-100-things-challenge/

I believe I have over 2000 items in my room if I count each one individually. If I count them as collections, there's probably still a good 500. This doesn't work very well in my get up and go hopes. So I'll be posting to this blog an inventory with pictures of everything I have. If you'd like anything from there, please feel free to PM me and I'll let you know if I'll part with it or not.

Just from looking at my closet I see . . .
1. Hat
2. Hat
3. Beanie
4. Beanie
5. Hanging storage thing never used
6. Stockings (don't ask)
7. Mickey Ears
8. Guy Fawkes mask
9. Socks
10. Bootineer from prom(can't spell and too lazy to check)
11. Color Printer
12. Piratey pants
13. Card collection
14. Rolls of Film
15. Desk Orgranizer
16. Bedside lamp
17-22. Dress shirts
23-32.T-shirts (not including those in the laundry)
33. Sweater
34-35. Pants
36. Work shirt
37. Apron
38. Scrubs
39. Leather Jacket
40. Mechanics Jumpsuit
41. Graduation gown
42. Shoes
43. Dress shoes

That's just what I can see from my chair into my closset, close to half of my budget. So that's my Summer project that I will hopefully by finished with by early July.

Another thought . . . I have two bookcases right now although half of each are just filled with random little memories. Could totally cut down to one bookcase or if I really wanted to be pack up and go then no book case at all. Still just in the planning stages but something I really do hope I'll finish!
