The curious clips of Summer Nightastic!
So if you haven't visited the new Nightastic websit, here is the link.
As I was going thru the video, I found some curious clips. Here is a good example of disney's own photoshopin'. Can anyone figure out where the foreground components like the building with the lights and that street came from? I am guessing the people are on Main Street. For 2 key reasons. 1. The flame lamp post and 2. the trolly tracks in the street. I just can't figure out which building that is in the bottom right corner. Anyone?
Also I loved the cute little arms on the Fantasmic dragon. They're adorable!!
I have zipped the promo and introduction videos for your peeping enjoymnet in 2 formats. the original FLV and easier MOV. Take your pick. The FLV is in better qualtiy but the MOV are easier to watch. VLC can play FLV's just fine on mac or windows. Quicktime on mac can play FLV's if you have the Perian plug-ing. Enjoy.

the lights in the photoshopped image are from the Cinema on Main Street, but the lights on the marquee have changed since this was taken -- I don't know how old the image that Disney used is, but here is what the lights used to look like: http://www.matterhorn1959.com/blog1/25.cinema.jpg

When the Electrical Parade magically materializes along that photoshopped stretch of Main Street, uh, Paradise Pier, the Blue Fairy unit is shown leading the procession. I was hoping to get a glimpse of the new Tinkerbell unit. Isn't the Blue Fairy unit gone, or is it just not the lead float anymore?Posted 06-03-2009 at 01:29 AM by Crazee4mm
