Words and or phrases that are bothering me today:

When a bad accident happens and the person survives has horrible injuries someone will say 'They were lucky'. If they were lucky they would not have been in the accident in the first place.

"It was in the last place I looked". Well duh, why would you keep looking if you found it. Of course you are going to stop looking once you find it.

Need versus Want. I am tired of people who confuse need vs....

This past Sunday we went to a 'rememberence' of a former co-worker of Tim's. "Dom" was such a gentle soul, people could be completely freaking out all around him and he just did not feel the need to get stressed. As his wife said Sunday, he was just content 'to be'. A poem was passed out and it really struck a nerve with me. I want to try to use it in every day life.

Please join me in remembering a great icon of the entertainment community. The Pillsbury Doughboy died yesterday of a yeast infection and trauma complications from repeated pokes in the belly. He was 71.

First off I will start by saying my family puts the DYS in Dysfunctional. My parents were married for 7 years, had 2 kids and were divorced by the time I was 5 although they probably only lived together for a total of 2 years. Both parents went on to re-marry and then within a year of each other each had sons. My dad's son Andy I only knew on weekends and summers until I was an adult and then only on holidays. His mom divorced my dad and moved to Denver when he was 14 and other than my dad's funeral...
