I'm venting here. I'm totally through with people in general today, I had an orthodontist appointment about and hour ago - seriously, these ugly pieces of metal are very irritating.
Their equipment slipped and now I've got a sliced cheek and gum. I burnt myself at work today when the oven rack fell and now I'm sitting here with back problems for lifting industrial sized sheet pans.

I'm very excited....the gas prices at the gas station on the corner are $2.95! They were $4.98 almost a month ago. Sweeeet! Now I can actually fill my car up without cringing, as much.

Have you ever just stepped back, and realized how great your life is, even when things are going horrible.

Have you ever just watched the sunrise for fun, and think about how you can change your life for the better?

Just some thoughts, I think I'm going to get up and go watch the sunrise at the beach tomorrow morning....you know, just for fun.

I decided to stay 'home' this weekend, didn't really like doing much. So I decided to go and volunteer at the Good Samaritan Shelter. Wow. I am AMAZED by how loving and kind all of those people are there. I served salad to the people who came in, and they were SO grateful. It has definitely given me a different perspective on life, I complain about the smallest things that go wrong, and here are these amazing people who are so grateful just to have something to eat. I'm going back tomorrow to help...
