I just submitted my application online to Irvine Valley College. 
I know! Who'da thunk it? SunnyG is getting a higher education! I'm positively buoyant right now. All fear is cast aside and I am so happy that I am going to go to college. It has seemed like something completely unattainable to me since I was 16 and paige was born. I shelved all hopes or dreams of education at that time and haven't looked at them since. 
Of course I cried when I clicked submit. But these were tears of sheer joy and exuberance.

I know this sounds silly to most, but this is my dream come true. College. It even sounds awesome.

You know, I'm glad you're getting to fulfill this dream.
It's hard to remember that even when you don't do things the traditional way, it doesn't mean you don't get to do them.
And it's an outstanding example for Paige. No matter how long it takes or how old you are, you can always follow your dreams.

Yay! IVC is great! I know a professor there (we were colleagues), and as long as you don't take her class you're good (she teaches Early childhood stuff so you're okay!). You get to go back to school shopping! Yay! If you need a Bio class and want a fun one, take Bio-30. It has a reputation...
