I don't exactly hate people, but I must say a good majority of the population makes me consider violence. I know that not everybody can be geniuses and what not, but seriously, do you have to display your astounding stupidity to the whole world? Some people just drive me freaking nuts. I'm no saint, and I've done my share of stupid things. But I've learned from them and done my best to avoid repeats, ya know? Why is that so hard for most people to master?

2007 is almost officially over. It's been a wild ride.

I've had a lot of complaints this year, and it seems like there were so many things that didn't go quite right, but I have to say overall what a good year it's been.

Some of you may know I had a nervous breakdown in February, mostly due to my job and mounting stress over our upcoming wedding. What a lot of people don't know is how much of a recovery I've made, and how much my friends have helped me with getting back...

I've found myself listening to Christmas carols and singing along. The firewaorks and snow at Disneyland made me cry. It's that time of year again. Luckily, I've got a handle on my shopping and all that good stuff, and I feel more ready for the holidays this year than I have in many years past. Trying to keep my stress to a minimum, but things are much easier this year than in the past.

Life is good.

I can't believe my wedding is only 7 months away. Anders and I have been engaged for almost a whole year now! It seemed like we had so much time, but now it's almost here and I'm shocked. I'm very excited, and it looks like we have very little left to do in preparation.

Yesterday was kind of a bad day for me, and I realized something valuable. It wasn't a horrible day, but I chose to focus on the negative things going on around me rather than the positive. Today is no better (or worse) than yesterday but I am choosing to focus on the positive. What a difference it makes in how things go for me.

Maybe I'm starting to get this figured out, after all.
