So tonight is the first of 3 Dave Matthews Band concerts for us this week. I can't help but remember way back in 2005, when we had barely been dating for 2 months, Erik and I packed up the car and headed to San Francisco for my very first DMB show. I think it was on that trip when I realized I was totally going to marry this guy.

I know a lot of people don't buy into this stuff, but I am beginning to believe in the power of positive thinking. Ever since I lost my mind about a year and a half ago, I've struggled with negativity. I came to a point where my brain was so choked and cluttered with unhappiness and negative thoughts that I just didn't have room for anything else, and I didn't know what I was going to do. So I decided to try to be positive for one week. And then a week after that.

I've been so wrapped up in my own depression lately, I've barely noticed stuff going on in everybody else's lives. Things seem off with my friends. I hope everyone's OK. And I hope I am able to be as good a friend to each and every one of them as they've been to me.

I have resigned my position and given my 2 week's notice as of today. My last day is August 29. I've been so unhappy at this job for so long, but this means giving up all stability I have right now.
I'm eager to start college, but afraid that it's been so long since I've actually used my brains for anything that they may not work anymore. And I know working part time in a bookstore or library or almost anywhere is going to be a huge huge pay cut, which means dramatic lifestyle...
