Here's today's revelation- As a mom, hearing your child throwing up in the middle of the night is one of the worst sounds possible. That said, hearing the cat throwing up in the middle of the night, UNDER YOUR BED, might be a smidgen worse.

That is all horrible but it could have been worse. Cat could have puked ON bed while you were in it.

The worst part is that I heard the cat in the hall and I jumped up to check on him, which startled him and caused him to run under my bed. I know, at least he didn't jump on the bed, but at 3 am I could have pulled the blankets off and gone back to sleep. - Know what's a worse sound to hear? You're in an elevator, and someone is standing just slightly behind you and out of your range of vision.
