Disneyland CMs visiting DisneyWorld..

A friend of mine that works at Disneyland told me that because she works there she gets in free to Disneyworld and can take others for free. Is that true? Because that seriously makes me want to work at Disneyland for a couple weeks just so I can get into WDW for free when I go on vacation.. edit: I'm joking.. I have always wanted to work at Disneyland and am applying next week.

Well, I know it's wrong. I do want to work for Disneyland anyways though so maybe I should just switch jobs. My conscious won't feel like I'm cheating Disney.

Yes, but you have to work at the park for at least 3 months to recieve your Main Gate Pass which can then be used at Disney World in the same manner that it is used at Disneyland. One of the "Perks" CMs receive.

No no I don't mean to make it sound like that. It's just a perk.. I've always wanted to work at DL but never had the opportunity to and with the way things are going at my job now I might have to look for other employment.

Make sure to hire in as a CR, I don't believe CT's get them (though I remember hearing a while back that they were, so whether that stuck or not, who knows?)

I don't know about that 3 month wait for a blue pass, though. I got mine within 10 days of hiring in, but I hired in as a CR.

The thing is, the sign ins don't count, only your "home" park.

I don't have the Blue Pass on me right now but I thought it listed all of the parks into which you can sign guests. Isn't it all of them except the Tokyo parks?

Yes, you can sign into all WDW parks, in for free, same with Disney Paris and Hong Kong Disneyland. Though you can only sign other people in if you receive a Main Gate pass. Which you get if you're a CR, or a RFT. If you get a Mine Gate Pass you can only sign up to 3 other people in 16 times a year however (one day, one sign ).

As soon as you leave the company, they take your Main Gate pass, and you can no longer sign yourself in for free.

So, not only can you get into WDW for free, you also get 50% off of hotels. Good times.

Got mine today also...question I need answered though. I'm married and I've heard that my husband can use the pass without me being with him, is this true? Can he use the discounts offered to me, or is that only good for myself when I'm in the Parks?
