Signing in at the Monorail

Ok, never have done this, because we always sign in at Dland or DCA. But we are staying at the Grand Californian Hotel next week and plan to go to the park for one of those days. I have also signed in at the GCH entrance to DCA. But since we get early entry the day we are going, I was wondering if I could sign in at the Monorail....And one done it?

Cast Members can sign themselves and guests in the park using their Main Gate Passs

I'm pretty sure you can only do it at the main gate. Doesn't it say something like that on the pass itself?

Prior to 2006, cast members could sign themselves in at the DTD Monorail station, but then the policy was changed so that they couldn't. I'm not sure if it has since switched back or if signing in others is another issue.

I've signed in for early entry before but I don't think the monorail is running yet so you have to sign in at the main gate for that.

That was the only rule I was told about GCH, it must be after noon.

They've actually gotten really mean about letting cast members enter through the grand unless you are a guest at one of the hotels.
