And no, you can not choose the characters. If Disney thinks you would be a good fit for any of the face characters, they will decide for you. Plus, height also plays a factor into which characters you are friends with.

Thanks. My family thinks I would make a perfect Mad Hatter of course. I am at a perfect height. I am so sorry. I was having such a Mad Hatter nightmare last night. I am at a very good fit to be a face character. Well I still have a few years left until I am old enough to audition. Maybe my gender would change or maybe not. (Ha,Ha,Ha). I let Disney choose my character. Warning, I look like Princess Tiana from princess and the frog and I have the Mad Hatter's complextion. (Nana,nana,boo,boo) The Mad Hatter can't catch me because I look sort of like him and he is at Disney world and my computer is broken. I don't have a photo of me on my iPod touch but still he can not catch me. You guys are right about gender but don't worry I'll show you guys my photo and match it up really soon and then you guys would say ouch.

I agree with my sister, I call troll. No matter how much you look like him, a girl will NEVER be cast as a male character.

Actually, that is not true. A few years ago at WDW, Peter Pan had a female friend (just in parades/show though, not meets). However, they don't do that anymore.

This is really interesting. I just say consider Princess Tiana, or if you're a bit lighter try Jasmine. If not, fur characters work! But if you went to a face audition hoping to be the Mad Hatter, the first cut is just them looking at you, and you not really talking unless they ask you a question. (as i've heard i've never been) So they'd be looking at you for female face characters anyway :/ Because they wont look at say a guy and start thinking about females he can play.

I don't know what to tell you, but dont give up your dream of working there! Just consider something other then the Mad Hatter would be your best bet!
