Union dues

Does anyone know how often these get taken out of our paychecks?

It gets taken out about every week. If you go on the Hub and look at your paycheck, it shows on there.

Grrr it drives me crazy! Why can't they just do it once a month *sigh*

They probably could, but it'd be a larger amount each time, and a hassle they'd rather not deal with. Health care premiums and other deductions are also done with every paycheck rather than monthly or semi-monthly. I wonder if it'd be possible to decline payroll deduction and send them a check every month?

At first it's a little bit more than normal due to the initiation fee too.

I think it also depends on the union....my hubby's union doesn't do pay check deduction...so we pay it once a month
